About The Position

Xanitos, Inc. is hiring part-time Hospital Housekeepers for the second shift at Chestnut Hill Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers may work in any location on client premises and clean and maintain orderly facilities in a healthcare campus. Responsibilities may vary by account based on business needs, client requirements, and applicable industry standards. The advertised hourly pay rate is $17.52.

The role involves cleaning and maintaining patient rooms and other hospital areas, including hallways, lobbies, restrooms, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms. It also includes floor care, dusting, polishing, waste removal, replenishing bathroom supplies, and transporting small equipment or tools between departments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent.
• Must complete post-offer medical screening, background screening, and drug testing.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the janitorial industry.
• Experience with medical cleaning.

Responsibilities

• Clean and polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
• Sweep and/or vacuum floors.
• Dust furniture and equipment.
• Polish metalwork.
• Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to the disposal area.
• Replenish bathroom supplies.
• Transport small equipment or tools between departments.
