Hospital Housekeeper - 2nd Shift
About The Position
Xanitos is hiring Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers to clean and maintain orderly facilities at Physicians Regional-Collier in Naples, Florida. Housekeepers may work in any location on client premises. This is a second-shift position, with full-time and part-time schedules available from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Rotational weekends are required. The hourly pay rate is $14.00. The role involves cleaning patient-care and other hospital areas, maintaining surfaces and floors, handling waste, replenishing bathroom supplies, and moving small equipment or tools. Duties may vary depending on account needs, client requirements, and applicable industry standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Must complete post-offer medical screening, background screening, and drug testing.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods; use hands to handle or feel objects; reach; and frequently climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Required visual abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses.
- May be exposed to chemicals requiring special clothing or safety equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the janitorial industry.
- Medical cleaning experience.
Responsibilities
- Clean and polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
- Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
- Sweep and/or vacuum floors.
- Dust furniture and equipment.
- Polish metalwork.
- Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
- Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to the disposal area.
- Replenish bathroom supplies.
- Transport small equipment or tools between departments.
