About The Position

Xanitos, Inc. is hiring part-time Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers for Salem Regional Medical Center in Salem, Ohio. Housekeepers may work in any location on the client’s premises and clean and maintain facilities in an orderly condition across the health care campus. Part-time employees may be scheduled up to three days per week. Tentative shifts are 6:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m.; the second shift has a $1.50 differential. The hourly pay rate is $15.00. Rotating weekends and holidays are required.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to follow basic written and verbal instructions in English.
• Must complete a post-offer medical screening, background screening, and drug test.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the janitorial industry.
• Medical cleaning experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean and polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
• Sweep and/or vacuum floors.
• Dust furniture and equipment.
• Polish metalwork.
• Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to the disposal area.
• Replenish bathroom supplies.
• Transport small equipment or tools between departments.
