About The Position

Xanitos is hiring a part-time Hospital Housekeeper at Valleywise Peoria CHC in Peoria, Arizona. The role may be assigned to any location on client premises and is responsible for cleaning and maintaining an orderly environment within a health care campus. Responsibilities may vary by account based on business needs, client requirements, and applicable industry standards. The hourly pay rate is $16.00. The tentative schedule is 2nd shift, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM, with availability to work weekends and holidays required.

Requirements

• Ability to follow basic written and verbal instructions in English.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
• Post-offer medical screening, background screening, and drug test are required.
• Annual influenza immunization is a condition of employment unless a medical or religious exemption is requested and granted.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform the physical demands of the job, including frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 pounds.
• Possible exposure to chemicals requiring special clothing or safety equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the janitorial industry is preferred.
• Medical environment cleaning experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean and polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
• Sweep and/or vacuum floors.
• Dust furniture and equipment.
• Polish metalwork.
• Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to the disposal area.
• Replenish bathroom supplies.
• Transport small equipment or tools between departments.
