About The Position

Xanitos, Inc. is hiring part-time Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers at Dupont Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana, for available shifts. The role may be assigned to any location on client premises and is responsible for cleaning and maintaining orderly facilities in a health care campus. Duties may vary by account based on business needs, client requirements, and applicable industry standards. The position offers an hourly rate of $16.00 and a $500 sign-on bonus paid in three increments. Available shifts are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., and 5:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Rotational weekends are required. Qualified candidates may receive immediate offers.

Requirements

Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment, unless granted a medical or religious exemption.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
Must complete post-offer medical screening, background screening, and drug test.
Must meet the physical demands of the role, including standing and walking; using hands and arms; frequently climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; and frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work standing for long periods.
Vision abilities include close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses.
May be exposed to chemicals requiring special clothing or safety equipment.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the janitorial industry.
Medical cleaning experience.

Responsibilities

Clean and polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
Sweep and/or vacuum floors.
Dust furniture and equipment.
Polish metalwork.
Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to the disposal area.
Replenish bathroom supplies.
Transport small equipment or tools between departments.
