Heartstrings Pet Hospice provides compassionate hospice and in-home euthanasia care for pets in the comfort of their homes. The veterinarian helps pets and families through end-of-life care, taking time to listen, explain options, answer difficult questions, and support families in saying goodbye with dignity and peace. Visits are intentionally limited to a few appointments per day, without double-booking or rushing. The veterinarian practices independently while traveling to clients, with onboarding, one-on-one mentorship, and experienced colleagues available for support. Schedule options range from two days per week to full-time, including self-managed scheduling. Weekend work is arranged on the veterinarian’s terms: the veterinarian chooses four weekend days per month. Compensation is guaranteed and ranges from $65,000 to $145,000 depending on schedule, with quarterly bonus opportunities. The employer states that it does not require non-compete agreements.
