Heartstrings Pet Hospice is seeking a compassionate veterinarian to provide hospice and in-home euthanasia care to pets and their families in Tulsa, Bixby, Owasso, Sand Springs, Oklahoma, and the surrounding metropolitan area. The veterinarian will practice independently in a mobile role, helping families navigate end-of-life decisions and providing dignified, gentle care in pets’ homes. Appointments are intentionally limited so the veterinarian can listen, explain, and support each family without the pace and pressure of a traditional clinic. The role includes thoughtful onboarding, one-on-one mentorship, and access to experienced colleagues for support. Veterinarians can choose a schedule ranging from two days per week to full time, with self-managed scheduling options. Full-time compensation is listed as $105,000 annually for a five-day schedule or $90,000 annually for a four-day schedule, each with quarterly bonus opportunities. Compensation for other schedules is prorated; guaranteed compensation ranges from $55,000 to $135,000 depending on schedule. The employer states that it does not require non-compete agreements.
