About The Position

The Home Shopping Department Manager leads the department’s daily digital fulfillment operations, ensuring orders are completed accurately, on time, and with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. The role coordinates the fulfillment process from picking and staging through dispensing and, where applicable, delivery coordination, while resolving customer concerns, substitutions, and refunds.

The manager oversees team performance and labor planning, monitors fulfillment and customer-service metrics, and uses performance data to identify and address issues. The role includes hiring, training, coaching, and developing associates; coordinating with other department leaders on inventory availability; and ensuring compliance with food-safety, sanitation, quality, safety, and company operational standards. It is a hands-on, fast-paced retail environment requiring flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in varying temperature environments.
• Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable attendance and compliance with company safety policies and Code of Business Conduct.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Home Shopping Department operations and ensure timely, accurate, customer-focused order fulfillment.
• Deliver a strong pickup and delivery experience and professionally resolve customer concerns, substitutions, and refunds.
• Coordinate fulfillment processes, including picking, staging, dispensing, and delivery coordination where applicable.
• Ensure proper use of Home Shopping technology, handheld devices, and fulfillment systems.
• Monitor metrics such as order accuracy, pick rates, on-time completion, labor efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Create and manage schedules aligned with order volume, peak demand, and productivity expectations.
• Partner with department leaders to address inventory availability and out-of-stocks affecting orders.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop Home Shopping associates and foster a positive, accountable team culture.
• Ensure compliance with food-safety, sanitation, quality, and company operational standards.
• Review performance data and take corrective action.
• Follow company safety policies and the Code of Business Conduct.
