About The Position

The Home Shopping Department Manager leads daily digital fulfillment operations, ensuring customer orders are completed accurately and on time and that customers receive a strong pickup and delivery experience. The role manages high-volume fulfillment, supports associates, resolves customer concerns, and contributes to digital sales growth and overall store success.

The manager coordinates fulfillment from picking and staging through dispensing and delivery coordination where applicable; uses department technology and fulfillment systems; monitors performance and labor; schedules staff according to demand; and partners with department leaders on inventory availability. The role also hires, trains, coaches, and develops associates and ensures compliance with food safety, sanitation, quality, safety, and company operating standards. The position requires flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, reliable attendance, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying temperature environments. Travel is not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Home Shopping Department operations and ensure timely, accurate, customer-focused order fulfillment.
• Deliver a strong pickup and delivery experience and professionally resolve customer concerns, substitutions, and refunds.
• Coordinate end-to-end fulfillment processes, including picking, staging, dispensing, and delivery coordination where applicable.
• Ensure proper use of Home Shopping technology, handheld devices, and fulfillment systems.
• Monitor order accuracy, pick rates, on-time completion, labor efficiency, and customer satisfaction metrics.
• Create and manage schedules aligned with order volume, peak demand, and productivity expectations.
• Partner with department leaders to address inventory availability and out-of-stocks affecting orders.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop Home Shopping associates and foster a positive, accountable team culture.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, quality, and company operational standards.
