About The Position
AccordCare Home Health is hiring a compassionate Home Health Aide to provide high-quality care to patients and their families or caregivers. The aide follows the Plan of Care and helps ensure patients’ safety, well-being, and satisfaction. The role offers four-hour shifts, flexible hours, and a self-determined schedule, with shift differentials available. The position serves Orlando, Florida, and surrounding areas.
Requirements
- HHA certification.
- CPR certification; online CPR courses are not accepted.
- TB test or chest X-ray completed within the last six months.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Complete screening through the Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with personal hygiene, dressing, bathing, and daily tasks.
- Perform basic health care services, such as checking vital signs and administering prescription medications.
- Help with general light housekeeping.
- Drive or escort clients to appointments and activities, providing safe and timely transportation.
