Home Health Aide / CNA (Short Shifts)
About The Position
HouseWorks is hiring Home Health Aides and CNAs to provide compassionate, personalized in-home care to seniors in Waltham, Massachusetts. Caregivers help clients live safely and comfortably at home while supporting their dignity, independence, and well-being. The role may also involve companion care and assistance with errands and transportation. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable transportation.
- HHA certificate or CNA license.
- Pass a criminal background check.
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality.
Nice To Haves
- Open availability is strongly preferred.
- Previous experience as a CNA, PCA, Homemaker, or Companion is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with light housekeeping, errands, meal preparation, grocery shopping, and transportation.
- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, mobility support, and incontinence care.
- Offer companionship and conversation to promote emotional well-being.
- Provide medication reminders as needed.
- Document daily activities, client well-being, and changes in condition.
