About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant to work part-time as a Home Health Aide. The role provides personal care to adult and elderly patients in their homes throughout Rhode Island. The Home Health Aide is an integral member of a multidisciplinary health care team delivering home health aide, skilled nursing, and rehabilitative care so clients can receive the medical care they need while remaining at home. The schedule is weekdays, Monday through Friday, with flexible daytime hours. The position requires travel to multiple patient homes each day.

Requirements

• Be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Rhode Island.
• Have work experience as a CNA.
• Have transportation to travel to multiple patient homes each day.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Provide bathing and grooming assistance.
• Assist with toileting and nail care.
• Help patients with range-of-motion activities and exercises.
• Check vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and respiration.
• Assist patients with ambulation.
• Provide medication assistance.
