Home Health Aide /CNA
About The Position
Freedom Plaza is seeking a Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant for its private duty program at the Freedom Plaza Sun City Center senior living community. The role provides services to residents in a relaxed community setting, without traveling between clients. Services may include shower assistance, shopping, medication reminders, and light housekeeping such as laundry. The schedule is described as flexible, with three shifts per week required. Available shifts are 7 a.m.–7 p.m. or 7 p.m.–7 a.m., Monday through Friday, including every other weekend. Pay starts at $15.00 per hour, with a weekend rate of $17.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Current HHA certification or CNA license.
- Previous experience is required.
- Current CPR certification, or obtain it upon hire.
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and document services provided.
- Ability to work independently with little direct supervision.
- Kind, reliable, and compassionate demeanor.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care services, including shower assistance.
