About The Position
Touching Hearts at Home is seeking dedicated caregivers to help older adults and seniors age with dignity and comfort. The agency describes itself as family-owned and offers a supportive environment with communication and appreciation. This role provides one-on-one care to clients and may include transporting them to appointments, shopping, and engagement activities. The position seeks weekday, weekend, and overnight availability, with 4–12-hour morning, day, or evening shifts. A 7 a.m. or 8 a.m. start time is ideal. Candidates must be able to commit to at least three designated, recurring days and travel up to 15–20 miles for shifts. The Home Office is located in Canton, Massachusetts.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and an insured vehicle with the applicant's name on the insurance policy.
- Ability to provide client transportation.
- Advanced proficiency in English, including the ability to read, write, and communicate clearly.
- Availability for at least three designated, recurring days on an ongoing basis.
- Reliable and dependable, with the ability to commit to a set schedule.
- Experience providing direct care, working as a Home Health Aide or Certified Nurse’s Assistant, or providing private care or care for a loved one.
- Ability to travel up to 15–20 miles for shifts (approximately 30 minutes of commuting time).
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds.
- Access to the internet, email, and a mobile phone, with the ability to use a phone app.
Nice To Haves
- Home Health Aide or Certified Nurse’s Assistant certification; certifications are a plus but not required.
- WellSky experience.
- Availability for weekdays, weekends, and overnight shifts; a 7 a.m. or 8 a.m. start time is ideal.
