About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is recruiting Home Health Aides and Certified Nursing Assistants to care for clients in their homes during day-shift hours in Bradenton and surrounding communities. The role offers an opportunity to support clients in living their best lives at home while serving the local community. The stated pay range is $17–$19 per hour. Scheduling is flexible based on availability, with shifts of 4–12 hours.

Requirements

• At least one year of work experience.
• Current Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
• BLS-certified CPR through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross in an in-person class.
• Level II Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
• Support range-of-motion activities and exercises.
• Assist with transfers, including use of mechanical lifting devices.
• Assist with oral feeding.
• Check vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and respiration.
• Perform home management tasks such as laundry, meal preparation, and bed making.
• Assist clients with ambulation.
• Provide medication assistance.
• Provide transportation.
