About The Position

BAYADA is recruiting a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide one-on-one personal care and companionship to patients in Clearwater, St. Petersburg, New Port Richey, Zephyrhills, and other locations. Working according to a written plan of care by a registered nurse, the aide provides personal care, household support, and companion care to help adults remain safe and independent at home. The role offers a pay range of $17–$19 per hour and a variety of shifts lasting 4–12 hours. Team members receive training, support from a larger care team, and access to a clinical manager on call 24/7. BAYADA recognizes and rewards HHAs and CNAs who maintain high standards of excellence. Requirements

At least one year of work experience.
A current Home Health Aide certificate from at least a 40-hour course, or a CNA license, or one year of hands-on experience working as a caregiver or Home Health Aide.
BLS-certified CPR from the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, HSI, or American Healthcare Academy.
Level II Background Check.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care, household support, and companion care according to a written plan of care by a registered nurse.
Help clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
Provide light housekeeping, laundry, and bed-making support.
Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
Help clients perform range-of-motion exercises.
Assist with ambulation, transfers, and use of mechanical lifting devices.
Provide medication reminders.
