About The Position
Concierge Care is hiring Certified Home Health Aides and Certified Nursing Assistants to provide private-duty, one-on-one care to seniors in St. Augustine, Florida, and surrounding areas. Caregivers help clients maintain independence in their homes. Part-time and PRN assignments are available, with recurring weekly schedules when available and opportunities for additional hours. Scheduling depends on caregiver availability and client needs. Pay is $18–$22 per hour, with weekly pay. This is W-2 employment, not independent contracting. Care may include assistance with personal care, mobility, meals, household tidiness, companionship, medication reminders, errands, transportation, and compassionate support for clients with dementia or Alzheimer's. No personal liability insurance is required. Applicants must authorize a comprehensive background review for contracting purposes; the report may include civil and criminal history, driving records, birth records, and other public records. Requirements
- Active Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) certificate from a Florida-approved school.
- Valid driver's license and current auto insurance.
- Current CPR certification.
- Social Security card.
- Health statement completed within the past 6 months.
- Required caregiver training: 2-hour Alzheimer's, 1-hour HIV/AIDS, and 2-hour medication assistance.
- Eligibility for AHCA/FLClearinghouse Level 2 background screening.
- Authorization for a comprehensive background review for contracting purposes.
Responsibilities
- Help seniors with bathing, dressing, grooming, and getting ready for the day.
- Provide companionship and conversation.
- Assist with mobility and safe transfers.
- Prepare meals and help maintain a tidy home.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Assist with errands and transportation when needed.
- Provide compassionate support for clients with dementia or Alzheimer's.
