About The Position

ComForCare Home Care is hiring caregivers to provide one-on-one, in-home care that helps seniors and adults remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes. The position offers flexible scheduling, with shifts ranging from 3 to 12 hours and morning, afternoon, evening, overnight, and weekend options. Caregivers work independently in clients’ homes and are supported by the team. Paid training is provided, and experience is a plus but not required. The service area covers Northern Michigan communities.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable, insured vehicle.
• Ability to work independently in clients’ homes.
• Strong communication and time management skills.

Nice To Haves

• Prior caregiving experience is a plus, but not required.
• Applicants with CNA, HHA, PCA, or DSP backgrounds, as well as hospitality, retail, or customer service experience, are encouraged to apply.
• Passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Plan and prepare meals.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Transport clients to appointments and errands.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Offer companionship and conversation.
• Support clients’ hobbies, activities, and social engagement.
