CNA/Caregiver/Home Health Aide/PCA
About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), Caregivers, Personal Care Aides (PCAs), Home Health Aides (HHAs), and Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) to provide compassionate, reliable, one-on-one support to clients at home in Kansas City, Missouri; Independence, Missouri; and surrounding areas. DSP, PCA, HHA, and Caregiver positions pay $16.00 per hour; active Missouri CNAs pay $17.00 per hour. Available hours vary by location. The roles currently offer part-time and PRN/fill-in hours, with potential to build additional hours. Care team members assist clients with activities of daily living and home management tasks. BAYADA offers training, flexible scheduling, weekly pay, opportunities near employees’ homes where possible, and support from a dedicated team. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living.
- Provide light housekeeping.
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
- Assist with range-of-motion activities and exercises.
- Assist with transfers, including use of mechanical lifting devices.
- Assist with oral feeding.
- Check vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and respiration.
- Perform home management tasks such as laundry, meal preparation, and bed making.
- Assist clients with ambulation.
- Provide medication assistance.
