About The Position

Yellow Dot Heating & Air Conditioning, a Southern Home Services company, is seeking a Home Comfort Advisor / Outside Sales Professional. The role focuses on helping homeowners identify home-comfort solutions by working with service technicians to present and recommend equipment and service options. The company provides training and industry knowledge; prior experience in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical work is not required. The position is described as exempt, with customer appointments requiring travel to customer locations and availability on weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

Requirements

Demonstrated history of achieving and exceeding sales goals.
Ability to build and maintain trusting customer relationships and support customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Proficiency with PCs and technology-based sales tools.
Willingness and ability to travel to customer locations for in-person meetings.
Availability to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
Ability to sit, stand, walk, communicate verbally, hear, use hands to type or handle objects or controls, and reach with hands and arms.
Occasionally stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and lift up to 10 pounds.

Nice To Haves

At least 3 years of business-to-consumer sales experience.
Strong motivation to sell and help customers solve their needs.

Responsibilities

Engage new, current, and previous customers with home-comfort solutions and build long-term customer relationships.
Communicate with homeowners during in-home conversations and help identify ways to reduce utility costs and future repairs while improving home comfort and air quality.
Collaborate with service technicians to present and recommend suitable equipment and service options.
Conduct follow-up calls to confirm customer satisfaction and develop future referrals.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
