About The Position

Cunningham Associates Heating & Air Conditioning, a Southern Home Services company, is seeking a Home Comfort Advisor / Outside Sales Professional. The role focuses on turning customer leads into sales by working with service technicians to present and recommend equipment and service options for customers’ homes. The advisor helps homeowners find ways to save on utilities and future repairs while improving comfort and air quality. No prior experience in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical work is required; training and industry knowledge are provided. The posting describes an opportunity to earn $100,000–$250,000 yearly in commissions and notes that advertised pay is the average commission pay for Home Comfort Advisors. This is an exempt position.

Requirements

• Demonstrated history of achieving and exceeding sales goals.
• Ability to build and maintain strong, trusting customer relationships.
• Proficiency with PCs and technology-based sales tools.
• Willingness and ability to travel to customer locations for in-person meetings.
• Availability to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job, with reasonable accommodations where applicable.

Nice To Haves

• At least 3 years of business-to-consumer sales experience; prior HVAC, plumbing, or electrical industry experience is not required.
• Strong drive to sell and help customers solve their needs.

Responsibilities

• Engage new, current, and previous customers with solutions for home comfort and build long-term customer relationships.
• Communicate effectively during in-home conversations and help homeowners identify ways to save on utilities and future repairs while improving home comfort and air quality.
• Collaborate with service technicians to present and recommend equipment and service options.
• Conduct follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction and generate referrals.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
