About The Position

Southern Home Services is seeking a Home Comfort Advisor / Outside Sales Professional for Swift Services. The role works with service technicians to present and recommend equipment and service options that meet customers’ home comfort needs. The company provides training and industry knowledge; prior HVAC, plumbing, or electrical experience is not required. The posting states that advisors may earn more than $100,000 in their first year, with advertised commission pay ranging from $100,000 to $250,000 yearly on average.

Requirements

• Demonstrated history of achieving and exceeding sales goals.
• Ability to build and maintain strong, trusting customer relationships.
• Proficiency with PCs and technology-based sales tools.
• Willingness and ability to travel to customer locations for in-person meetings.
• Availability to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
• Ability to perform the physical functions described, including occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• At least 3 years of business-to-consumer sales experience; prior HVAC, plumbing, or electrical industry experience is not required.
• Strong motivation to sell and help customers solve their needs.

Responsibilities

• Engage new, current, and former customers with home comfort solutions and build long-term customer relationships.
• Communicate with homeowners during in-home conversations and recommend solutions that can reduce utility costs and future repairs while improving comfort and air quality.
• Collaborate with service technicians to present and recommend equipment and service options.
• Conduct follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction and generate referrals.
• Travel to customer locations for in-person meetings.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
