About The Position

As a Holiday Helper, you will be a welcoming first point of contact for families shopping at Carter’s. You will assist customers with product selection and features, support a positive shopping experience through omnichannel services, and help keep store operations running smoothly in a busy retail environment. The role includes register transactions, replenishment and shipment tasks, communicating promotions and the brand loyalty program, and helping maintain a safe, clean store. Availability may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled. Requirements

• Effective, professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and climb up and down a ladder.
• Availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Proactively resolve customer issues and assist multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
• Greet customers warmly and assist them with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Use omnichannel services as needed to meet customer needs and support a positive shopping experience.
• Execute and expedite point-of-sale/register transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment tasks as needed.
• Explain current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
• Help minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store.
