About The Position

As a Holiday Helper, you will be the first face of the Carter’s brand for growing families, welcoming customers and helping them find products for the many moments in their parenting journey. You will work in a welcoming and inclusive retail environment, assist customers with product selection, handle transactions, replenish merchandise, and support a safe and clean store. The position requires availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled. Compensation ranges from $16.00 to $18.25 per hour based on experience and location.

Requirements

• A positive, solutions-oriented mindset.
• Demonstrated customer service and customer engagement skills.
• Effective, professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and climb up and down a ladder.
• Availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Proactively resolve customer issues and balance the needs of multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
• Welcome customers warmly and assist them with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Use omnichannel services as needed to meet customer needs and provide a positive shopping experience.
• Execute and expedite point-of-sale and register transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment tasks as needed.
• Explain current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
• Help minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store.
