About The Position

As a Holiday Helper, you will be the first face of the Carter’s brand for growing families, helping customers find baby essentials, school clothing, and products for other moments in their parenting journey. You will work in a welcoming and inclusive environment that values and optimizes team members’ skills and talents. The role focuses on customer service in a busy retail environment, supporting customers with product information and omnichannel shopping, processing sales, replenishing merchandise, and communicating promotions and the brand loyalty program. Team members help maintain a safe, clean store and minimize store loss through exceptional customer service. Availability may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Requirements

Demonstrated customer service and engagement skills.
Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and climb up and down a ladder.
Availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

Confidently and proactively resolve customer issues while balancing multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
Welcome customers and assist them with product styles, features, and benefits.
Use omnichannel options as needed to meet customer needs and provide a positive shopping experience.
Execute and expedite point-of-sale and register transactions.
Complete floor replenishment and shipment tasks as needed.
Explain current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
Help minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store.
