About The Position

As a Holiday Helper, you will serve as a welcoming first point of contact for families shopping at Carter’s. You will help customers discover product styles, features, and benefits, support a positive shopping experience through omnichannel options, and assist with transactions and store operations. The role is based in a busy retail environment and includes customer service, replenishment, shipment support, and helping maintain a safe and clean store.

Requirements

• A positive, solutions-oriented mindset.
• Demonstrated customer service and customer engagement skills.
• Effective, professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and climb up and down a ladder.
• Availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
• A relative in a management role at this store location.

Responsibilities

• Proactively resolve customer issues while balancing the needs of multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
• Greet customers warmly and assist them with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Use omnichannel options as needed to meet customer needs and provide a positive shopping experience.
• Execute and expedite point-of-sale and register transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment tasks as needed.
• Explain current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
• Help minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store.
