About The Position

As a Holiday Helper, you will be a welcoming first point of contact for families shopping at Carter’s. You will assist customers with product selection and store services, support sales and checkout, and help maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked retail environment. The role requires flexibility to work scheduled days, nights, weekends, and holidays, along with the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods.

Requirements

• Positive, solutions-oriented mindset.
• Demonstrated customer service and customer engagement skills.
• Effective, professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and climb up and down a ladder.
• Availability that may include scheduled days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers warmly and assist them with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Proactively resolve customer issues and assist multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
• Use omnichannel options as needed to meet customer needs and provide a positive shopping experience.
• Execute and expedite point-of-sale and register transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment tasks as needed.
• Explain current promotions and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
• Help minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store.
