About The Position

As a Holiday Helper, you will be the first face of the Carter’s brand for growing families, helping customers find products for parenting milestones and providing a positive shopping experience. You will work in a welcoming and inclusive retail environment and support customers across Carter’s brands.

Requirements

• Positive, solutions-oriented mindset.
• Demonstrated customer service and customer engagement skills.
• Effective, professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and climb up and down a ladder.
• Availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Confidently and proactively resolve customer issues while balancing multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
• Welcome customers warmly and assist them with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Use omnichannel resources as needed to meet customer needs and provide a positive shopping experience.
• Execute and expedite point-of-sale and register transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment tasks as needed.
• Explain current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
• Help minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store.
