About The Position

The Holiday Cashier delivers a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer-experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The role follows operational, merchandise, and loss-prevention standards and may involve cross-training in multiple store areas to support business needs. The position also supports a positive store culture, store recovery and safety, and the company’s shrink-reduction goals.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Model established customer-experience practices with internal and external customers.
Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
Accurately ring customer purchases and returns, and count change back according to operating procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Follow the merchandising philosophy and established merchandising procedures and standards.
Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain cleanliness throughout the store.
Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
Follow all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
