About The Position

As a Holiday Helper, you will be the first face of the Carter’s brand for growing families, helping customers with moments throughout their parenting journey. You will work in a welcoming and inclusive environment that values and optimizes team members’ skills and talents. This position supports customers in a busy retail environment by assisting with products and shopping, processing transactions, replenishing the sales floor and shipments, and maintaining a safe, clean store. Compensation ranges from $13.50 to $15.50 per hour, based on experience and location.

Requirements

A positive, solutions-oriented mindset.
Demonstrated customer service or customer engagement skills.
Effective, professional verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and climb up and down a ladder.
Availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

Confidently and proactively resolve customer issues while balancing multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
Welcome customers warmly and assist them with product styles, features, and benefits.
Meet customer needs by using omnichannel services as needed to provide a positive shopping experience.
Execute and expedite point-of-sale/register transactions.
Complete floor replenishment and shipment tasks as needed.
Explain current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
Minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store.
