About The Position

As a Holiday Helper, you will be the first face of the Carter’s brand for growing families, supporting customers through the big and little moments of their parenting journey. You will welcome customers, help them find products, and contribute to a positive shopping experience in a busy retail environment. The role is part of a welcoming and inclusive environment that values and optimizes team members’ skills and talents.

Requirements

• Demonstrated customer service and customer engagement skills.
• Effective, professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and climb up and down a ladder.
• Availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
• A relative in a management role at this store location.

Responsibilities

• Proactively resolve customer issues and serve multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
• Welcome customers warmly and assist them with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Use omnichannel services as needed to meet customer needs and provide a positive shopping experience.
• Execute and expedite point-of-sale/register transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment tasks as needed.
• Explain current promotions and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
• Help minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store.
