About The Position

As a Holiday Helper, you will represent the Carter’s brand and support families throughout their parenting journey. You will help customers discover products and provide a positive shopping experience in a busy retail environment. The role includes customer service, register transactions, replenishment and shipment tasks, and helping maintain a safe, clean store. Availability may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Requirements

• A positive, solutions-oriented mindset.
• Demonstrated customer service and customer engagement skills.
• Effective, professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and climb up and down a ladder.
• Availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
• A relative in a management role at this store location.

Responsibilities

• Proactively resolve customer issues while assisting multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
• Greet customers warmly and help them with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Use omnichannel options as needed to meet customer needs and ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Execute and expedite point-of-sale and register transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment tasks as needed.
• Explain current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
• Help minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store.
