About The Position

U-Haul is hiring a Hitch Service Technician to work in the lots of its Moving and Storage Centers, providing service to customers using technical expertise. The role involves explaining U-Haul towing packages, recommending and installing suitable packages on customer vehicles, and providing customer service and support. Technicians participate in ongoing education through U-Haul University. The position is located at 210 US Hwy 46, Saddle Brook, New Jersey. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship. Requirements

Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
Basic wiring and hand/power tool experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Understand and explain U-Haul’s variety of towing packages.
Recommend and install the right tow package on customer vehicles.
Provide exceptional customer service and support to U-Haul customers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
