About The Position

U-Haul is seeking a hard-working, knowledgeable Hitch Service Technician to work in U-Haul Moving and Storage Center lots. The role uses technical expertise to provide outstanding service to customers. Technicians explain U-Haul towing packages, recommend and install suitable tow packages on customer vehicles, and provide customer support. The position includes ongoing education through U-Haul University. The role is based at 390 Providence Hwy, Norwood, Massachusetts. Compensation is $15.00 to $17.00 per hour. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship. U-Haul states that it will not hire or re-hire nicotine product users in Massachusetts and other listed states.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license and the ability to maintain a good driving record.
Basic wiring and hand/power tool experience.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must be legally authorized to work and must not require employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Understand and explain U-Haul’s variety of towing packages.
Recommend and install the right tow package on customer vehicles.
Provide exceptional customer service and support to U-Haul customers.
Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
Perform other duties as assigned.
