About The Position

Air Evac Lifeteam is hiring a full-time Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services. The position emphasizes safety and requires working with medical experts to transport customers to and from locations and facilities. The schedule is 7 days on and 7 days off, with on-duty housing.

Requirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• 2,000 total flight hours.
• 1,500 helicopter hours.
• 1,000 helicopter PIC hours.
• 500 turbine helicopter hours.
• 100 hours of night unaided flight, or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided.
• Must meet the 230-pound weight limit with flight gear.

Nice To Haves

• EC130 aircraft experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or higher.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches according to appropriate manuals, Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR), and Air Evac Lifeteam requirements, and perform aircraft cleanliness duties.
• Maintain accurate AEL and regulatory documentation and records.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift-change information to the successive pilot and team, following protocol for recording Air Evac Lifeteam change-board details.
• Maintain required certifications and complete ongoing training.
