About The Position

Med-Trans is hiring a full-time Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services. The role involves safely transporting customers to and from locations and facilities while working with medical experts and other operational partners. Safety is a key pillar of Med-Trans’s services. The position offers a 7/7 schedule and a salary of $102,072–$112,280, including a 15% geographic modifier. Eligible pilots may receive a $15,000 sign-on bonus and retention bonuses, including $40,000 after three years and additional retention bonuses thereafter.

Requirements

• Current FAA Commercial Rotorcraft Certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• 2,000 total flight hours.
• 1,500 helicopter flight hours.
• 1,000 helicopter pilot-in-command (PIC) hours.
• 500 turbine helicopter hours.
• 200 helicopter night flight hours, aided or unaided.

Nice To Haves

• EC135 aircraft experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or higher.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches in accordance with applicable manuals, Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR), and Med-Trans requirements; perform aircraft cleanliness duties.
• Maintain accurate Med-Trans and regulatory documentation and records.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift-change information to the next pilot and team, following protocols for recording Med-Trans change-board details.
• Maintain required certifications and complete ongoing training.
