About the position
The Head of Sales - Japan at GumGum is responsible for developing sales strategies, prospecting, and closing sales in GumGum's Contextual and Creative Advertising platform in Japan. This role involves leading and developing a sales team, as well as building key relationships in the Japan region to drive value for clients. The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of the digital advertising and media landscape, along with proven experience in advertising and media sales. They should be a self-motivated leader who can work collaboratively with internal teams to achieve and exceed sales goals while growing GumGum's products in the allocated region.
Responsibilities
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Media or Marketing/Advertising field
- 10+ years of selling experience in digital advertising sales
- Sales management experience with minimum of 2-3 years of experience managing a team of 5+ employees
- Experience managing a large book of business
- Strong selling experience and track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets
- Strategic relationships with major digital leaders
