About the position
The Digital Director role at GumGum is responsible for driving revenue and new business across large to mid-sized agencies in Belgium. They will be tasked with upselling current clients and generating sales through sales prospecting and hunting activities. The role also involves cultivating relationships with brands, agency contacts, and clients to gain deep insight into their business and provide GumGum solutions for their marketing and advertising goals. The ideal candidate should have at least 5+ years of selling experience in digital advertising sales, a strong track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets, and proficiency in Salesforce, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
Responsibilities
- Drive revenue for Belgium by prospecting and closing sales with large to mid-sized agencies
- Upsell current clients in current and new products by providing market insight into GumGum offerings
- Conduct sales prospecting and hunting activities, including cold calling, presentations, RFPs, and out-of-the-box sales solutions
- Cultivate relationships with brands, agency contacts, and clients to gain deep insight into their business and provide GumGum solutions for their marketing and advertising goals
- Translate client insight to the internal product team to improve service delivery
- Manage a large book of business and achieve or exceed sales targets
- Utilize programmatic experience and strategic relationships across multiple holding companies
- Proficient in Salesforce for logging meetings, calls, pulling reports, etc.
- Possess strong PowerPoint, Excel, and Word skills
- Build and maintain/grow client relationships at all levels, including entertaining clients
- Eager, motivated, and passionate about GumGum's products
- Proactive and strategic in approach with the ability to adjust quickly
- Work autonomously with occasional managerial guidance on client calls
- Collaborate with cross-functional pre-sales team for support
- Celebrate successes together with teams and partners through team hangouts and fun moments
Requirements
- 5+ years of selling experience in digital advertising sales
- Experience managing a large book of business (3M+)
- Strong selling experience and track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets
- Programmatic experience preferred
- Strategic relationships across multiple holding companies
- Proficient in SalesForce
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Outgoing and able to build and maintain/grow client relationships at all levels
- Eager, motivated, and passionate about GumGum's products
- Proactive and strategic mindset
- Flexible and able to adjust quickly
