Head of Product

Atmosphere TV•Austin, TX
•Onsite

About The Position

Atmosphere is seeking a hands-on Head of Product to lead high-leverage initiatives across in-venue experience, advertising, and internal AI enablement, and connect product roadmaps into a coherent business plan. This is an individual-contributor role without a fixed product area. The role owns initiatives end-to-end, from customer discovery and opportunity framing through stakeholder alignment, delivery, and measurement, working with small product pods of designers and engineers. The position requires developing a strong understanding of the needs of viewers, venues, advertisers, and internal teams; using those insights to set priorities; and aligning teams around dependencies, sequencing, and trade-offs across the product portfolio. The Head of Product collaborates with engineering, design, sales, and operations, defines success metrics and ensures appropriate instrumentation, and emphasizes outcomes over output. Daily use of AI for research, analysis, prototyping, and workflow automation is expected. The role reports to the Chief Product & Technology Officer and is on-site in Austin, Texas, with required in-office availability 4–5 days per week.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of product management experience on software products.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand customer needs quickly and translate them into appropriate priorities.
  • A track record of delivering and shipping products or initiatives.
  • Entrepreneurial ownership combined with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Experience aligning multiple product roadmaps and influencing priorities across teams without relying on reporting authority.
  • Progressive daily use of AI for research, analysis, prototyping, and workflow automation; examples include Claude, Cursor, Copilot, or similar tools.
  • Strong data analysis and instrumentation skills, including defining meaningful metrics, ensuring they are tracked, and analyzing data independently.
  • Excellent communication skills, including clear product writing.
  • Bias toward simplicity.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future employer sponsorship.
  • Available to work on-site in Austin, Texas, 4–5 days per week.

Nice To Haves

  • Domain experience in consumer entertainment, streaming media, ad tech, or B2B SMB software.
  • Experience as a founder or early employee at a startup.
  • Technical background sufficient to prototype without engineering support.
  • Experience building or deploying internal AI tooling.

Responsibilities

  • Own key business initiatives across in-venue experience, advertising, and internal AI enablement, from problem framing through shipping and measurement.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the needs of viewers, venues, advertisers, and internal teams; prioritize their needs and bring customer insights to the team.
  • Connect product roadmaps by identifying dependencies, clarifying prioritization and sequencing trade-offs, and aligning teams on how their work supports the broader business.
  • Use AI daily for research, analysis, and prototyping to make ideas concrete for stakeholders and users.
  • Collaborate across engineering, design, sales, and operations to align priorities and unblock execution.
  • Define success metrics for each initiative, ensure appropriate instrumentation exists, and focus teams on outcomes rather than output.
  • Work alongside design and engineering in a small product pod, keeping the team focused on the most important work.

  • Competitive salary.
  • Company equity.
  • Company 401(k) with employer matching.
