About The Position

Vio is seeking a senior design leader to own the company’s overall user experience across Product Design, UX Research, and Content Design, including the product outcomes these disciplines support. The role leads a team of around ten and is an opportunity to build the function and its organization. Reporting to the Head of Product, the Head of Product Experience will join domain leadership alongside product, engineering, and commercial leaders, helping shape strategy from the outset. Vio operates consumer-facing and partner-facing white-label and API businesses on one platform. The role is responsible for making the experience across both businesses world-class and building a team that can sustain it. The successful candidate will set the UX vision, lead and develop the multidisciplinary organization, establish a high craft bar, partner closely with Product and Engineering, and make design’s contribution to user-facing outcomes measurable. The role also includes dedicated time for north-star concepts and cross-product journeys, and integrating AI into design, research, and content workflows. The position is based in Amsterdam or remote within CET ±1, with some flexibility up to CET ±3 for exceptional candidates. It includes travel to the Amsterdam office around six times a year.
