About The Position

[solidcore] is seeking a Head Coach passionate about sharing its brand and workout. Reporting to the Area Manager, the Head Coach supports the studio’s success and the company’s mission to grow its boutique fitness business. The role models the qualities of an exceptional coach and leads the studio’s coaching team, while coaching an average of 11 classes per week. The Head Coach delivers a best-in-class fitness and customer service experience and sets standards for other coaches. They provide ongoing coach development, feedback, and in-studio support during new coach trainings, and assist with studio operations, client concerns, outreach, and retail operations. This is a permanent, exempt, full-time position expected to work 40 hours per week, including coached classes. The schedule requires flexible and variable availability, including weekends and holidays, and the ability to accommodate coach training schedules and changing business needs. The role requires the ability to lift or carry at least 30 pounds and proficiency with G-Suite and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Google Sheets. Requirements

1–2 years of prior group fitness experience.
Proficiency in G-Suite and Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Google Sheets.
Flexible and variable availability, including weekends and holidays, and ability to accommodate coach training schedules and changing business needs.
Ability to lift or carry at least 30 pounds.
Comfort leading a fast-paced class on a microphone with loud music and high energy.
Superior client relations and communication skills.
Reliable and professional.

Responsibilities

Serve as the studio’s lead coach and maintain a schedule of 11 classes per week.
Set an example and establish expectations for new and existing coaches.
Deliver a best-in-class fitness and customer service experience consistent with [solidcore] standards.
Meet company utilization and retention expectations individually and for the studio.
Take direction from the Area Manager to assist with day-to-day studio operations.
Lead outreach and marketing efforts to attract new clients and build long-term community partnerships.
Develop coaches by providing formal and informal feedback and assisting with new coach trainings through in-person support.
Assist with client requests and resolve concerns promptly and effectively.
Maintain product knowledge for studio retail operations, including class packages, current promotions, and apparel.
Complete routine operational tasks, including ordering supplies, conducting inventory, and maintaining sales logs.
Keep the studio and equipment impeccable and fully functioning.
Perform other duties and projects as assigned or needed.
