Part Time Nanny – Redmond, WA
About The Position
A family in Redmond, Washington, is seeking a warm, structured, and engaging nanny to care for their toddler son, who will turn 2 in December. The role focuses on active toddler care, supporting developmental milestones, and completing light child-related household tasks. The home is smoke-free and has a friendly Golden Retriever. The parents value open communication and hope to build a long-term relationship with the caregiver. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Compensation is $20–$30 per hour, commensurate with experience. Candidates are subject to a background check and must provide proof of legal authorization to work in the United States. The family is an equal opportunity employer. Requirements
- Experience working with children.
- Comfort working in a household with a dog.
- Proof of legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Successful completion of a background check.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, safe care and age-appropriate supervision.
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, diapering, and supporting potty training when appropriate.
- Plan meals, prepare light food, and handle the child's feeding routine.
- Engage the child in educational, creative, and developmental activities.
- Perform light housekeeping and handle the child's laundry as needed.
