About The Position

The Hauler provides materials to production areas, transfers finished product to the warehouse, and tags and puts away finished product as assigned. The role is responsible for finished products leaving the palletizing area, the information recorded for each pallet, and reconciliation of related paperwork. It also transports cheese to appropriate aging cells or other specified areas.

Requirements

• Must have a current forklift license.
• Must be proficient in safe forklift operation.
• Knowledge of production inventory control operations.
• Proficiency using a computer.
• Solid organizational, analytical problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Keep accurate inventories of packaging and cheese supplies.
• Comply with Saputo food safety policies.
• Maintain the quality and appearance of the product.
• Prepare pallet tickets for each pallet.
• Palletize products and place pallets in the warehouse.
• Keep the cooler organized.
• Load products.
• Handle and use cleaning chemicals.
• Complete required paperwork and computer entries accurately.
• Perform safety inspections and checks on forklifts.
• Verify pallet, box, tag, barcode, and tally sheet information.
• Transfer finished products to the warehouse and put them away as assigned.
• Transport cheese to appropriate aging cells or specified areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
