About The Position

The Hauler provides materials to production areas and transfers finished products to the warehouse. The role tags and puts away finished product, handles all finished products leaving the palletizing area, maintains information for each pallet, reconciles paperwork, and transports cheese to appropriate aging cells or specified areas. The scheduled shift is 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. The starting wage is $27.43 per hour.

Requirements

• Current forklift license.
• Proficiency in safe forklift operation.
• Knowledge of production inventory control operations.
• Proficiency using a computer.
• Strong organizational, analytical problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Keep accurate inventories of packaging and cheese supplies.
• Comply with Saputo food safety policies.
• Maintain the quality and appearance of the product.
• Prepare pallet tickets for each pallet.
• Palletize products.
• Place pallets in the warehouse.
• Ensure the cooler is organized.
• Load products.
• Handle and use cleaning chemicals.
• Complete required paperwork and computer entries accurately.
• Conduct safety inspections and checks on forklifts.
• Verify pallet, box, tag, barcode, and tally sheet information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
