About The Position

Meijer is seeking an entry-level Courtesy Team Member to perform cart retrieval and a variety of store service tasks. The role provides exposure to retail tasks related to store services, products, and customer service. Courtesy Team Members are expected to enjoy interacting with people and provide above-and-beyond customer service. The listed schedule is 2pm–10pm. The job profile is not all-inclusive; other duties may be assigned or required.

Requirements

Be highly organized with a keen sense for details.
Have strong listening and communication skills.
Be able to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, and twist while handling products or using equipment.
Be able to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
Coordinate and collect trash from the parking lot, lawn, and inside the store.
Safely use snow-removal equipment to remove snow.
Handle perishable and salvage returns.
Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
Work with the service desk, store entrance, check lanes, and parking lot areas.
Work with departments including Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal, and Floral.
Perform other duties as assigned or required.
