About The Position

As an entry-level team member, the Courtesy Clerk has the opportunity to gain exposure to retail tasks related to store services, products, and customer service. Courtesy Team Members interact with customers and provide above-and-beyond service. The role includes retrieving shopping carts, maintaining cleanliness around the store and parking areas, assisting with snow removal, handling perishable and salvage returns, and working with several store departments. Other duties may be assigned or required.

Requirements

Highly organized with a keen sense for details.
Great listening and communication skills.
Able to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, and twist while handling products or using various equipment.
Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
Coordinate and collect trash from the parking lot, lawn, and inside the store.
Safely use snow removal equipment to remove snow.
Handle perishable and salvage returns.
Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
Work with the service desk, store entrance, check lanes, and parking lot areas.
Work with Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal, and Floral departments.
Perform other duties as assigned or required.
