About The Position

As an entry-level team member, the Courtesy Clerk supports retail tasks and additional store services, including product and customer service. Courtesy Team Members interact with customers and provide above-and-beyond service. The position involves retrieving carts, maintaining cleanliness, handling returns, using snow-removal equipment, and assisting across store areas and departments. Other duties may be assigned or required.

Requirements

Highly organized with a keen sense for details.
Strong listening and communication skills.
Able to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, and twist while handling products or using equipment.
Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Ferry shopping carts from outside the store to the store interior.
Coordinate and collect trash from the parking lot, lawn, and inside the store.
Safely use snow-removal equipment to remove snow.
Handle perishable and salvage returns.
Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
Work in the service desk, store entrance, check lanes, and parking lot areas.
Work with the Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal, and Floral departments.
Perform other duties as assigned or required.
