About The Position

Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina is hiring a Hanger/Textiles team member. This role is suited to an organized, dependable, goal-oriented person who can work independently, pay close attention to detail, and meet production goals. The work involves sorting, hanging, and tagging clothing while identifying defects and ensuring merchandise meets Goodwill’s quality standards. The employee is expected to work efficiently, avoid distractions, and maintain a safe, neat, and efficient work area. The position may include cross-training in cash register operations and receiving, pricing, and stocking donations. Associates should be available to work most store hours, particularly evenings and weekends. Stores are open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday beginning at 11 a.m. The listed pay is $15.00. Eligible benefits are available after a waiting period.

Requirements

Ability to work independently and stay organized and dependable.
Attention to detail and ability to identify clothing defects.
Ability to focus and work efficiently without distractions.
Availability to work most store hours, especially evenings and weekends.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Production or similar experience preferred.
