About The Position

Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina is seeking a goal-oriented, detail-focused Clothing Hanger/Inspector who can work independently, stay organized and dependable, and meet production goals. The role involves sorting clothing for quality and defects, hanging and tagging clothing efficiently, and maintaining a safe, neat, and productive work area. The position may include cross-training in cash register operations and receiving, pricing, and stocking donations. Receivers may occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and carry 10 to 35 pounds. Associates should be available to work most store hours, especially evenings and weekends. Stores are open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and open at 11 a.m. on Sunday. The listed pay is $15.00. Eligible benefits become available after a waiting period and include paid time off, a pension plan, medical and dental coverage, and tuition reimbursement, among other benefits.

Attention to detail and ability to identify clothing defects.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Production or similar experience preferred.
Availability to work most store hours, especially evenings and weekends.
