About The Position

Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina is hiring Clothing Hangers/Inspectors. The role involves sorting clothing for quality and defects, hanging and tagging clothing efficiently, and maintaining a safe, neat, and efficient work area. Associates should be comfortable working independently, staying organized and dependable, and meeting production goals. The position may include cross-training in cash register operations and receiving, pricing, and stocking donations. The employer states that receivers may occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and carry 10 to 35 pounds. Associates should be available to work most store hours, especially evenings and weekends. Stores are open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Production or similar experience preferred.
Ability to work independently, stay organized and dependable, and meet production goals.
Ability to identify defects and maintain attention to detail.
Availability to work most store hours, especially evenings and weekends.
